Liliya Ianovskaia

Liliya Ianovskaia grew up in Soviet Belarus, studied mathematics in Minsk and built a life in Canada. She began climbing at fifty. In 2022 she reached the summit of Everest with her daughter Dasha, and at 62 she became the oldest woman to summit K2, a record certified by Guinness World Records.
